Home > The Negotiation Stage

Treaties and Constitution have followed a formally established procedure involving an Intergovernmental Conference (IGC) in which national governments negotiate amendments and changes to the Treaties. Both Member States and EU institutions supply documents that are the object of negotiations. If you would like information regarding the Negotiation Stage of a particular treaty click on the yellow quill () of one of the treaties on the side menu.
