International Treaty on the non application of Statutory Limitations to war crimes and crimes against humanity (1968)

The International Treaty on the non application of Statutory Limitations to war crimes and crimes against humanity was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 26 November 1968 and entered into force on 11 November 1970 when, in accordance with article 8, the tenth instrument of ratification or accession was deposited in the United Nations.

According to the article 1 of the Convention, no statutory limitation shall apply to war crimes and crimes against humanity, irrespective of the date of their commission.
