Tras algunas observaciones sobre el judeoespañol de los sefardíes otomanos, se describe el papel de la lengua vernácula en los oracionales de diario y de los días festivos (sidurim y mahzorim), en los rituales del sabat, en las distintas festividades del ciclo litúrgico anual (festividades y ayunos) y en los ritos del ciclo vital.
