Luisa Lobo holds a degree in Pedagogy from the Faculty of Education of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil. There she has worked with the local indigenous communities in educational projects through an intercultural approach, experiencing a scenario of intense reflection on cultural diversity: a scenario of cooperation and exchange between scientific knowledge present at the University culture and traditional knowledge brought by indigenous students and indigenous leaderships. Shortly after her graduation she moved to Austria where she has been working as a freelancer junior researcher/project manager at navreme knowledge development GmbH. She has been mainly involved in the evaluation of educational programmes financed by the European Commission. Recently she has started the CREOLE Master programme (Cultural Differences and Transnational Processes) in the University of Vienna.

She intends to connect her further work experiences with her knowledge in issues regarding intercultural education and cultural diversity, and to apply them in socio-political projects concerning social development.
