EMIGRA is a research group on children and Education in migration contexts, focusing on the study of the role of cultural diversity in social inequeality in souther European countries, and in UE/Norh Africa and Mexico/US borders. The group uses an interdisciplinary approach and a comparative frame of analysis but maintaining a strong Anthropolgical perspective. Studies are carried out by combining ethnography, cuantitative analysis, and Applied Anthropology.The group belongs to the department of Social and Culturl Antrropology of the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. It was started in 2005 from the former ANE Group.
