Borrón y cuenta nueva: interculturalidad en las aulas y Reforma Educativa en Bolivia
Carmen Osuna Nevado talked about the fieldwork she is conducting in Bolivia, funded by a MAEC-AECI fellowship, on the Intercultural reform in Bolivia. In 2006 Bolivia's government lunched a new Educatioanl policy due to the fact that the reform of 1994 did not reached the expected results. Carmen talked about how she negotiated her entrance in the schools, and how she was able to built trust with gatekeepers in order to begin her fieldwork. She also addressed teachers', parents' and students' discourses on diversity and interculturality. She talked about her contacts with different govenrment agents as well. After the talk we had a very rich debate.
