This conference, that will take place between the 2nd and 4th of November, is part of the National Preventive Conservation.
The event aims to address a fundamental aspect of the working methods of preventive conservation, from a theoretical and practical perspective, the study of environmental conditions.
With this study we attempt to, systematically, track and analyze the environmental factors that determine the environmental conditions the cultural heritage is exposed to, it also will provide comprehensive information that allows us to facilitate the monitoring, troubleshooting and improving storage conditions.
This will equip students with a methodology of practical work involving the use of instruments and data collection, handling and treatment of these and analysis of environmental factors.
The course is aimed to professionals involved in heritage conservation with a degree in conservation and restoration of cultural property, architecture, archeology, museum studies, experimental sciences applied to the conservation, management or professional experience in cultural and direction of cultural institutions. It is essential to good management of computer and spreadsheet programs like MS Excel.
